In the land of GQ men and one apparently uninterested hero
Heroes star Hayden Panettiere’s secret superpower? The ability to penetrate the boys’ club. The sole female honoree in attendance at GQ’s Men of the Year party on Dec. 5 mingled among the men at the Chateau Marmont, although the magazine’s obsession of the year seemed more taken with a certain woman in the crowd. “Ah!” she screamed to her mom as soon as she spotted Diane Lane. But it’s safe to say other lucky ladies in attendance, including Eve, Carla Gugino and Rumer Willis, kept their eyes on the guys, including Alex Rodriguez, Ben Foster, Eric “McSteamy” Dane and cover boy Kanye West, who nearly slipped into the VIP section unnoticed sans his signature shades. 8. Emile Hirsch, left, on the lookout for honoree Bill Clinton, took a break to brood with Casey Affleck, but alas, the former president sent in taped remarks. Four-eyed funnymen 9. Jonah Hill, left, and Seth Rogen held down their half of the Comedy Mafia moniker by closing down the party with another title holder, Paul Rudd, while 10. Josh Brolin, right, got the giggles around Ryan Gosling.
