"The Borrowers"

By Mary Norton

Do you lose things a lot? Well, then, the Borrowers may be living in your house. They are "little people" who, of course, borrow stuff.

Borrowers hate modern living, so not many of them exist. Only the Clock Family is left: Pod, Homily and their daughter, Arrietty. This book is about the good and bad things that happen to this family.

The author gave this book a sad but mysterious ending, which I'm not going to give away.

"How Animals Talk"

By Susan McGrath

I liked this story because I learned that animals communicate by howling, moving around and making noises. I also learned that deer rub their horns on trees to make them sharp for protection. I learned wolves get their food by smelling something good and tasty for their dinner. I recommend you read this book to learn more about animals.
