A man wounded in a possible gang shooting outside a Jefferson Park church where a funeral was held died Saturday evening at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, police said.
Los Angeles Police Officer Mike Lopez said the man was attending the funeral at Southern Missionary Baptist Church, 4678 W. Adams Blvd., about 10:20 a.m. when he stepped outside and was shot. The victim's name was withheld. Lopez said detectives believe the shooting was gang-related.
