On the Web

In her Word Play column at latimes.com/books, Sonja Bolle looks at Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight" series for young adults. Now that the boy wizard's saga is over, Harry Potter fans are trying to fill their emptiness, and sales of Meyer's supernatural novels have soared. But Bolle suggests that Meyer's story of a girl in love with a dreamy young man who's a vampire has more in common with "The Bridges of Madison County" than with "Harry Potter."
