Probe sought in secret memo's leak

December 13, 2007|David Zahniser

Councilman Richard Alarcon demanded an investigation Wednesday into what he called a leak of a confidential memo by City Atty. Rocky Delgadillo regarding a 5,800-unit housing project planned north of Sylmar.

Alarcon said a Dec. 6 memo with the heading "Privileged and Confidential, Attorney-Client Communication" wound up in the hands of neighborhood council members. The memo advised the city to process the land-use application for Las Lomas, which is outside the city limits.
