BUZZ CLUBS

    Already thriving

As downtown continues to boom, an exhausted J.D. Iriarte is putting in 18-hour days to finish up his new nightclub, Tatou. The glamorous venue at the old Glam Slam is thriving, despite the fact it does not officially open until Feb. 22. "I figured why not make money on dress rehearsals," says Iriarte, a celebrity events producer who works with Robert Evans, Robert Downey Jr. and Val Kilmer. "I'm not bringing my friends down here until we have all the kinks worked out, though." The Cocoanut Grove-inspired nightclub, which is also owned by Mark Fleischman (Century Club/Studio 54/Tatou Beverly Hills and Tatou New York) will feature a multitude of VIP rooms and celebrity chef Michael Ray (first season winner of "Hell's Kitchen"). A note to red-hot lovers: The kitchen is set to open on Valentine's Day

    Grammy party time

    FOR THE RECORD

Grammy party: Rolling Stone magazine's party at Avalon Hollywood will be held Saturday, not Sunday, as was reported in the Buzz Clubs column in Thursday's Calendar Weekend.

Folks are already angling to get into the Brent Bolthouse/SBE Grammy party, which is being tossed on behalf of the William Morris Agency on Sunday. They're decking the halls of a Westwood parking structure with DJ Adam 12

    Worth noting

Save the date: This year's General Motors Ten event, a star-drenched fashionista gala, is being held Feb. 20 at Paramount Studios in Hollywood and includes a performance by Beck
