Travis D. Pfister, 27, of Richland, Wash.; sergeant, Marine Corps. Pfister was among seven troops killed Feb. 7 when their Marine CH-46 helicopter was shot down by insurgents northwest of Baghdad. He was assigned to Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 364, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton.

James J. Regan, 26, of Manhasset, N.Y.; sergeant, Army. Regan was killed Feb. 9 when a roadside bomb exploded near his vehicle in northern Iraq. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment at Ft. Benning, Ga.

Eric Ross, 26, of Kenduskeag, Maine; staff sergeant, Army. Ross was among three soldiers killed in an explosion Feb. 9 while checking a building that apparently had been booby-trapped in Baqubah, Iraq, north of Baghdad. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division at Ft. Hood, Texas.

Thomas E. Saba, 30, of Toms River, N.J.; corporal, Marine Corps. Saba was among seven troops killed Feb. 7 when their Marine CH-46 helicopter was shot down by insurgents northwest of Baghdad. He was assigned to Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 262, Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, 3rd Marine Expeditionary Force in Okinawa, Japan.

Dennis L. Sellen Jr., 20, of Newhall; specialist, Army National Guard. Sellen died of noncombat-related injuries Feb. 11 in Umm al Qasr, Iraq, south of Baghdad. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 185th Infantry Regiment in Fresno.

Alan W. Shaw, 31, of Little Rock, Ark.; staff sergeant, Army. Shaw was among three soldiers killed in an explosion Feb. 9 while checking a building that apparently had been booby-trapped in Baqubah, Iraq, north of Baghdad. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division at Ft. Hood, Texas.

Clarence T. Spencer, 24, of San Diego; private, Army. Spencer died Feb. 4 in Balad, Iraq, of injuries suffered that day when his unit was attacked with small-arms fire in Baqubah, north of Baghdad. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division at Ft. Hood, Texas.

Nickolas A. Tanton, 24, of San Antonio; private first class, Army. Tanton died of noncombat-related injuries Tuesday in Kirkuk, Iraq, northeast of Baghdad. He was assigned to the 3rd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Brigade, 25th Infantry Division at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.

Robert B. Thrasher, 23, of Folsom, Calif.; sergeant, Army. Thrasher was killed Feb. 11 when his unit was attacked with small-arms fire in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division at Ft. Bliss, Texas.

James R. Tijerina, 26, of Beasley, Texas; sergeant, Marine Corps. Tijerina was among seven troops killed Feb. 7 when their Marine CH-46 helicopter was shot down by insurgents northwest of Baghdad. He was assigned to Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 364, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton.

Raymond M. Werner, 21, of Boise, Idaho; private, Army Reserve. Werner was among three reservists killed Feb. 8 when a roadside bomb exploded near their unit while on patrol in Karmah, Iraq, west of Baghdad. He was assigned to the 321st Engineer Battalion in Boise, Idaho.
