Two pedestrians were killed in an apparent drive-by shooting early Sunday in an unincorporated county area near Santa Fe Springs, authorities said.
The victims, a male and female, were pronounced dead at a local hospital after the shooting, which occurred about 12:20 a.m. in the 12200 block of Painter Avenue near Imperial Highway. Their names were not released.
