Freshman Chase Budinger scored 23 points and Marcus Williams and Jawaan McClellan each scored 22 to lead No. 7 Arizona to its 12th consecutive victory, 96-87 over No. 24 Washington on Thursday night at Seattle.

Mustafa Shakur scored 21 points for Arizona (12-1 overall, 3-0 Pac-10). The Wildcats are on their longest winning streak since they won 19 in a row in 1998 before losing in the NCAA regional finals to Utah.

Quincy Pondexter, benched for the first time in his collegiate career after 13 starts, matched his career high with 25 points for Washington (10-4, 0-3), which lost its third in a row. He had scored 22 points in his three previous games combined.

Arizona won for only the third time in its last nine games against Washington. The Huskies had won their last seven home games against ranked opponents.

Washington went the final 4:25 without a basket. Ryan Appleby missed a wide-open three-point shot with 1:35 left that could have cut the Wildcats' six-point lead in half.

Washington State 75, Arizona State 55 -- The Cougars (13-2, 2-1) used 9-0 runs in both halves to pull away from the Sun Devils (6-8, 0-3) at Pullman, Wash. The Sun Devils shot 54.8% from the field, slightly better than Washington State's 54.2%. However, the Cougars had a 22-7 advantage in points off turnovers.

California 67, Stanford 63 -- Ayinde Ubaka scored seven of his season-high 26 points in the final 3:32 Wednesday night and the Golden Bears ended a 13-game losing streak on Stanford's home floor.
