Trung Nguyen may run for supervisor in 2008

Trung Nguyen, the Garden Grove schools trustee who barely lost his campaign for county supervisor in February to Janet Nguyen, announced Wednesday that he had created a campaign committee to run for the seat next year.

A judge ruled in March that Janet Nguyen won the February special election by just three votes. The seat will be up for its regularly scheduled vote in 2008.

Trung Nguyen has kept the heat on Janet Nguyen since the election, filing complaints with authorities over her receipt of undisclosed legal donations that exceeded contribution limits.
