On Saturday, the Galaxy will face Chelsea FC. The Tigres and Chelsea are in their preseason, but the Galaxy has played a dozen matches in MLS. "We don't need to make any excuses for those two teams, because they're very good teams. We know they'll be ready to play," Galaxy forward Landon Donovan said of the Tigres and Chelsea. "While they're in their preseason, they're not here to lose games." Coach Frank Yallop said the Galaxy, which is in the middle of a four-week break from MLS action, will try to continue to build a "rhythm" on the field.
