IN BRIEF / Los Angeles County / LOS ANGELES - One man killed, one wounded in shooting
One man was shot and killed and another was wounded in South Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon in a possible gang-related crime, said Officer Sara Faden of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Faden said the victims were standing in the 6600 block of Broadway when they were approached by a man who fired eight rounds at them with a 9-millimeter handgun.
The man who died was transported to an area hospital, where he later died.
Police would not release the name of either victim.
The shooter remains at large.
