Ballets Russes revival

The feature documentary "Ballets Russes" brought audiences glimpses of a vanished classical era company (actually \o7two\f7 companies) and repertory. And now Media City Ballet's program "The Men of the Ballets Russes" brings to the Wilshire Ebell Theatre major Russes stars as well as film clips of them in their prime. Look for appearances by George Zoritch (celebrating his 90th birthday), Marc Platt, Victor Moreno, Paul Maure and Andrei Tremaine, plus members of Media City Ballet and guest artists dancing sequences choreographed by Marius Petipa, Mikhail Fokine, Vaslav Nijinsky and J. Erglis Smaltzov.
