Viper crew goes to Montmarte
Former Viper Room manager Bobby Deleon just bought the Montmartre Lounge in Hollywood and is bringing live music to the venue. He's hiring many of the Viper's former top guns, including talent buyer Dayle Gloria, to bring the noise.... And speaking of Gloria, her new Thursday night at Boardner's makes its debut on May 17 with Hollywood Roses, Goldenstate, Automatic Music Explosion and more.... In downtown news, the Pacific Loft building at 6th and Main streets will be home to the Association, a new basement lounge from the folks behind the Room in Hollywood. The Association is slated for a late 2007 opening.... And Seven Grand, Cedd Moses' new downtown bar, has hired Spaceland's Mitchell Frank to do its live music bookings. Guests at its private May 10 opening party will be able to sample from the bar's 125 varieties of whiskey.... DJ Loomis is a full-blown renaissance man: drummer (Wax), films ("Jackass"), DJ (Burgundy Room) and on Friday, he makes his debut as an artist. Loomis' paintings will be on display at the Thought, the art gallery next-door to the Burgundy Room on Cahuenga Boulevard. Instead of DJing at his opening night reception, Loomis is hiring an '80s boombox and plans to toss in a crusty Germs tape.... Seen on the scene: Leonardo DiCaprio, Nicole Richie, Lindsay Lohan, Kimberly Stewart, Michelle Rodriguez and Lukas Haas, all at Winston's in WeHo last Monday night.
