Breast cancer: The California Breast Cancer Research Symposium will bring together people affected by breast cancer and the experts who are fighting to end the disease. Preparation for childbirth: A four-week course at Little Company of Mary Hospital-Torrance Del Webb Center for Health Education, 4101 Torrance Blvd. Saturdays from Sept. 8 through Sept. 29. Each class will meet from 9 a.m. to noon. There are also two five-week sessions -- one on Mondays running from Sept. 10 through Oct. 8 and the other on Tuesdays from Sept. 11 through Oct. 9.
