September 13, 2007|From Times Wire Reports

Two men and a woman with suspected Al Qaeda contacts were arrested in connection with a video posted on the Internet in March by Islamic militants threatening Austria and Germany, officials said.

Interior Minister Guenther Platter said one man was suspected of creating the video. The other man was suspected of contributing to it, he told reporters.

He said one of the men and the woman were a couple.

An Interior Ministry spokesman, Rudolf Gollia, said the suspects were arrested in Vienna. All three were in their 20s and unemployed, he said.
