They’re happy to do AFI Awards Luncheon
No tux, no problem at the AFI Awards Luncheon on Jan. 11. That was enough to get 4. Josh Brolin, left,to kick up his feet, er, foot alongside his “No Country for Old Men” costar Javier Bardem at the everyone’s-a-winner affair, which highlighted their film along with 19 other movies and TV shows of the year, including the quirky “Juno” and the recently departed “The Sopranos.” Allison Janney, Minka Kelly and 5. Tilda Swinton were among the ladies who lunched at the Four Seasons Hotel, while 6. Alec Baldwin, right, put ‘er there for Judd Apatow. Despite the downer of the ongoing WGA strike, a plaque-toting 7. Julian Schnabel found the sunny side in his yellow-tinted glasses, even if his chance to pick up the director trophy for “The Diving Bell and the Butterfly” at that other award show went bust.
