Hot Property
You may not know producer Danny Dimbort’s name, but chances are you’ve seen one of his 8 zillion movies.
He’s especially prolific in the action-adventure film genre: “Conan,” “Ninja,” “Rambo” and “Day of the Dead” are among his credits.
Mr. Prolific is selling his two-story English Tudor in Hancock Park for $6 million. Built in 1925, the 5,021-square-foot house has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. The grand home has a circular driveway, a library and a large bonus room. The house features hardwood floors, French windows and doors and three fireplaces. Outside, there is a large fireplace and area for entertaining, plus a pool and a spa. The covered patio is heated for winter.
Dimbort also has produced and distributed the action drama “16 Blocks” (2006) with Bruce Willis and the crime mystery “The Black Dahlia” (2006) with Hilary Swank and Scarlett Johansson. He is involved in about 15 films a year.
Bella Kay of Coldwell Banker, Hancock Park South office and Albert Khasky, Los Angeleno Realty & Mortgage, co-listed the property.
