At least three people were injured after a fight on an Orange Line bus ended in gunfire Saturday night, Los Angeles County sheriff's officials said.

Lt. Steve Brannigan said a brawl among six people on a bus spilled out into a bus station near the intersection of Burbank Boulevard and Fulton Avenue. One person pulled out a gun and at least one shot was fired, he said.

Brannigan said one person was treated at an area hospital for a gunshot wound to the arm.

Three suspects were arrested in the shooting, two of whom were hospitalized with fight-related injuries.

Brannigan said the fight may have been gang-related.
