'Sarah's Law': In Saturday's California section, a headline did not accurately portray the dispute over California's Proposition 4, a measure calling for parental notification in abortion cases. The headline said, " 'Sarah's Law' would not have aided 'Sarah.' " The article reported that opponents of the proposition have sued to remove from the official voter guide reference to the girl's story, saying that the parental notification law would not have applied in the case of the girl after whom the measure is named. Backers of the initiative dispute that, and said they learned the details after submitting the ballot argument last month and would review the lawsuit before deciding whether to amend the language for the voter guide.
