Bicyclist critically hurt in apparent hit-run in Santa Ana
Police say the unidentified man may also have been robbed.
A unidentified bicyclist was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries early this morning after he was struck, apparently by a hit-and-run driver, in Santa Ana.
Police say some of the man's injuries indicate he also may have been robbed after being run down.
Police responded about 4:30 a.m. to a report of a body in the street in the 800 block of East Stafford Street. They found an unconscious man with "very critical" upper body injuries, said Police Cmdr. Steve Colon.
