Two men were killed and a 2 1/2 -year-old boy was injured Saturday when two men opened fire at a backyard barbecue, authorities said.
The assailants approached the house in the 8000 block of Rose Street about 4:30 p.m., fired several shots and fled, said Deputy Byron Ward of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
