On the set of 'The Sarah Silverman Program'

August 14, 2008|Susan King

Comedian Sarah Silverman wasn't showing any signs of her recent breakup with longtime love and late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel when photographer David Strick visited the set earlier this summer of her Comedy Central series, "The Sarah Silverman Program." The third season of her series is set to begin airing in October.

Silverman plays a fictionalized version of herself -- an immature, unemployed, self-absorbed woman who routinely insults her friends, family and strangers. Sarah also has a dog named Doug she found in the trash, and her favorite TV show is "Cookie Party!," in which viewers vote for their favorite cookie. The real-life Silverman also happens to be up for three Emmys this year, including for guest actress on "Monk" and for her over-the-top video about Matt Damon.
