MAYBE it's the 10-year-old boy inside me, son of Cesar-Chavez-marching leftists, but I literally cheered (and scared my dog) upon reading your interview with Zack de la Rocha ["All the Rage Again," by Ann Powers, Aug. 12].
Thanks for the undeniable rush of feeling I experienced when I read this story. Zack's words were like a . . . hammer smashing against the crumbling edifice of the L.A. Times itself. The machine lettin' da man speak!
