The premise of "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor" is that an adventure-seeking father-and-son duo unearth a shape-shifting mummy that was cursed by a wizard centuries ago. Hey, they had me at "hello."

The director of that masterpiece, Rob Cohen, is now wrestling with the shape-shifting real estate market, which at times feels as if it too may have been cursed by a wizard. Cohen's Malibu Cape Cod is listed for sale at $3.25 million.

The home is in a six-home gated community in the Point Dume area. The main house has four bedrooms and three bathrooms in 2,956 square feet. A detached two-story guesthouse has an additional bedroom and bathroom plus a ground-level office. The property, which comes with beach rights, is more than an acre and has ocean and mountain views.

Cohen, 59, was executive producer of "The Witches of Eastwick" (1987). He directed "Stealth" (2005) and "The Fast and the Furious" (2001).

Tony and Alan Mark of Prudential Malibu Realty listed the property.
