Drive-By Truckers Their passion for Southern rock and their flair for the mythology of the common man yielded some great albums, including “Southern Rock Opera” and “The Dirty South.” Their gift for myth persists on their new one, “Brighter Than Creation’s Dark,” but their music has broadened into a sweeping panorama of American folk, country and rock. Rickie Lee Jones The idiosyncratic artist has had her creative ups and downs since “Chuck E.’s in Love” cast her as a quirky boho raconteur in the late ’70s, but her latter-day resurgence reached critical mass with her latest album, “The Sermon on Exposition Boulevard,” an epic exegesis that weds New Testament and Velvet Underground. MASH (1970) Robert Altman directs Donald Sutherland, Elliott Gould, Sally Kellerman, Tom Skerritt, Robert Duvall, Roger Bowen and Gary Burghoff in this irreverent comedy about a Korean War field hospital.
