RESULTS, SCHEDULE
* at Pittsburgh 4, Philadelphia 3: Evgeni Malkin scored a goal and had three assists, and the Penguins beat the Flyers for the first time in five games this season.
* at Washington 3, N.Y. Rangers 2 (OT): Mike Green scored a power-play goal 23 seconds into overtime, and the Capitals regained first place in the Southeast Division.
* Minnesota 2, at St. Louis 1 (SO): Brent Burns scored in the sixth round of a shootout for the Wild.
* at Buffalo 5, Florida 3: In a game overshadowed by the injury to Panthers forward Richard Zednik, Derek Roy scored twice for the Sabres.
* Nashville 6, at Phoenix 3: J. P. Dumont and Rich Peverley scored 23 seconds apart in the third period for the Predators to break a 3-3 tie.
* at Vancouver 3, Chicago 2 (SO): Markus Naslund tied the score with 1:18 left in regulation for the Canucks, and Ryan Shannon scored the only goal of the shootout.
* Kings 3, at Columbus 2 (SO): The Kings won for the ninth time in 14 games (9-4-1).
* Ducks 3, at Detroit 2: Mathieu Schneider had a goal and an assist for the Ducks.
