SMALL-SCREEN DEBUT
Patterned after Alfred Hitchcock’s “Rear Window,” the 2007 movie “Disturbia” follows a troubled teen (Shia LaBeouf) in the sights of a possible serial killer. His father died suddenly a year ago, and acting out has earned him three months of house arrest. Binoculars distract from his boredom until he witnesses a murder taking place across the street.
(HBO, Sat., 8 p.m.)
