For most folks, wine is all about relaxing. But for Lou Amdur, owner of Lou wine bar -- one of Hollywood's best-kept strip-mall secrets -- wine means work. So when he wants to get mellow with vino, he heads far from the madding crowd. "On my one day off, my wife and I sometimes eat soon tofu jigae at Beverly Soon Tofu. I mostly drink OB beer there, but they also offer Korean wines, including one made from bokbunja, a type of wild Korean raspberry. Traditionally, the fruit is picked only by women." Lou, 724 N.
