Lucca Cafe: Lucca for you
LUCCA FOR YOU
Champagne brunches are usually the purview of fancy hotels. And they’re priced accordingly. At two-year-old Lucca Cafe, which debuted Sunday brunch earlier this month, the tab is just $21.95 per person. Four bucks more gets you some bubbly – not actual Champagne, but tasty Spanish cava. Kids younger than 12 pay their age. In addition to an omelet station with fresh eggs bought at the farmers market by chef Cathy Pavlos, there’s tri-tip, pasta, salads and the early favorite, mini pastries so cute you can pig out with equally mini guilt. Quail Hill Village Center, 6507 Quail Hill Parkway, Irvine, (949) 725-1773
