Lancaster woman is stabbed to death with a sword in front of her four children
A Lancaster man is being sought in the death of his girlfriend, who was stabbed with a sword in front of their four children Saturday, authorities said.
The suspect, identified as Jesus Humberto Canales, is believed to be armed and dangerous, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
His girlfriend, Lucy Preciado, was found dead of multiple stab wounds just after 2 a.m. in the 4100 block of West Avenue L, deputies said.
Canales may be driving a bronze 2002 GMC Safari van with the California license plate 6CBY663.
