Two small quakes hit Southern California
Two small earthquakes, one near the Salton Sea and the other east of Los Angeles, rattled Southern California late Sunday night.
The first occurred just before 10 p.m. near Westmorland in Imperial County and registered 3.0, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. About 15 minutes later, a 3.2 quake struck in Mentone in San Bernardino County.
No injuries or damage were reported.
