After seeing how Frankie Rodriguez has been pitching since his one blown save in early April, I would suggest that the Angels sign him to numerous, lucrative, one-year offers. That way he will always be in a contract year.

It was quite unfair of The Times to ask some of the Ducks' players for their thoughts on the Stanley Cup finals while the Kings' opinions remained silent. After all, the Kings have been around more than 40 years and the Ducks a mere 15. Oh, you wanted expert commentary from a franchise that has actually won a Stanley Cup? My bad.

Who in their right mind would fight 30,000 spectators trying to follow a threesome of Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Adam Scott? I will watch it at home with a cool one and some popcorn, and no trouble with a bathroom break.
