The Seasons

Twirling snowflakes land in my hand and melt in the warmth of spring. Spring goes by and summer starts. It soon passes, taking all the heat with it. Green leaves turn gold and fall off the tree, landing gently on the ground. Soon snowflakes begin to fall.
On a Flowing Sheet of Blue

White foam horses race toward me on a flowing sheet of blue as waves thunder like the galloping of a thousand hooves. I sink my feet into a pool of fine soft sand and follow the horses to a mystical kingdom.

I caper across a field of soft, sweet grass, a carrot in my mouth, my family loping beside me singing under a golden sun, the wind in our ears. I am looking for daisies pink as cotton candy to bat with my paw.
