I Panini di Ambra in Little Armenia

Four years ago, Milan native Ambra Ditonno started catering video and commercial shoots for such high-profile clients as Justin Timberlake and McDonald's. In March, the self-taught baker opened I Panini di Ambra, a retail storefront specializing in pizza al taglio (by the cut), focaccia-like rectangles patterned after the slices she ate on the Italian Riviera as a girl. Pizza Sardinara is a specialty from San Remo, featuring fresh tomato sauce, black olives and oregano.
