Magnitude-3.3 quake strikes Central Coast
A light earthquake has struck the Central Coast, but there have been no reports of damage or injuries.
A preliminary notice from the U.S. Geological Survey says the temblor occurred at 11:55 p.m. Wednesday and was estimated at magnitude-3.3.
The quake was centered 5 miles south-southeast of the town of Parkfield and about 20 miles northeast of Paso Robles.
A dispatcher at the 911 communications center in Paso Robles said she did not feel the quake and hadn’t received any calls related to it.
