Hot Property: Producer Terence Michael lists his Playa del Rey bungalow for $981,000
Hot Property
File this under the category of listening to your own advice: Terence Michael, the executive producer of Showtime’s “I Can’t Believe I’m Still Single” show, which premieres June 22, is selling his beach house in Playa del Rey. Why? Seems he is no longer unattached.
Michael is moving to Manhattan Beach with his girlfriend.
The 1950s bungalow he is selling for $981,000 has an open, wood-beamed ceiling in the living and dining areas. It is about 1,560 square feet and located near bike paths, beaches and major freeways. The aluminum-ceilinged kitchen features hand-cut mosaic tiles and stainless steel appliances. There is a large backyard with hot tub, gazebo, an outdoor fireplace and tranquillity fountain.
“I Can’t Believe I’m Still Single” is a spinoff of the book by the same name written by Eric Schaeffer, which humorously chronicles his dating miseries.
Michael co-produced the 1996 film “If Lucy Fell,” which starred Ben Stiller and Sarah Jessica Parker.
Agents Amy Henley, Guy Nicolet and Jenn Harrison of CataList Homes, Westside office, represent the seller. Photos and a virtual tour can be seen at www.catalisthomes.com.
