Toronto 3, at Minnesota 2 (11 innings): Pinch-hitter Joe Inglett hit a two-out, bases-loaded single through the infield in the 11th inning, helping the Blue Jays complete a three-game sweep.

at Cleveland 4, Oakland 2: The Indians won for the eighth time in 10 games as Aaron Laffey gave up one unearned run in seven innings.

at Tampa Bay 5, New York 2: Former Angels closer Troy Percival pitched a perfect ninth inning for his 10th save in 12 opportunities for the Rays.

Chicago 4, at Angels 3: Jim Thome singled home A.J. Pierzynski in the top of the ninth inning and the White Sox earned a split of the four-game series.
