Ken Belanger, ex-Los Angeles King, lists Manhattan Beach town house

Googling Ken Belanger is like scanning the program for “Friday Night Fights:” “Ken Belanger Hits Ulf Samuelsson,” “Ken Belanger KOs Brad Brown.” The former National Hockey League player’s legendary fights are all over YouTube.

Belanger, hands down the poster boy for www.hockeyfights.com, is selling his Manhattan Beach town house for $1,125,000. The listing agent, Ed Kaminsky of SportStar Relocation in Manhattan Beach, assures us that there are no holes punched in the walls of the 1,876-square-foot, two-level home. The same cannot be said for some of Belanger’s hockey opponents.

The three-bedroom, three-bathroom home is in a gated community and has wide-open greenbelt views. The unit has two master suites, a formal living room and dining area, an updated kitchen and a large patio area. The large two-car garage is being used as a children’s play area.

Belanger, soon to be 34, began his NHL career with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1994. He also played for the New York Islanders and Boston Bruins, and joined the Los Angeles Kings in 2001. He retired in 2006.

Belanger is now helping the same people he clobbered get relocated, as a vice president at SportStar Relocation.
