* at Baltimore 6, Washington 5: Brian Burres pitched four-hit ball into the seventh inning and Orioles won for the seventh time in eight games.
* Oakland 5, at Atlanta 4: Tim Hudson (6-3) had been 3-0 with a 1.88 earned-run average at home but gave up five hits -- two homers -- and five runs in five innings.
* at Florida 7, Kansas City 3: Wes Helms hit a three-run, pinch-hit homer and Mike Jacobs hit a two-run shot in the seventh inning, helping the Marlins deny the Royals their first six-game winning streak since beginning the 2003 season with nine victories.
* at Colorado 3, Minnesota 2: Ryan Spilborghs hit a tiebreaking single in the eighth inning. Greg Reynolds, the Rockies' first-round pick in the 2006 draft from Stanford, worked six scoreless innings.
* Detroit 3, at Arizona 2: Carlos Guillen hit a two-run single and rookie Matt Joyce homered to help the Tigers end a five-game losing streak.
* Chicago White Sox 3, at San Francisco 1: Mark Buerhle (2-5) ended a five-game losing streak by yielding one run and seven hits in 6 2/3 innings.
* at Seattle 4, San Diego 2: Adrian Beltre, batting only .164 in May, hit a tiebreaking, two-run homer in the seventh inning.
* at Texas 6, Houston 2: The Rangers clinched their seventh consecutive series victory.
* Dodgers 6, at Angels 3: Chan Ho Park made his first start for the Dodgers since Oct. 5, 2001, when he gave up Barry Bonds' 71st and 72nd homers of the season.
