Archdiocese settlements by the numbers

Total paid by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles in two sex abuse settlements in 2006 and 2007.

Amount the archdiocese expects will remain outstanding even after it sells extensive property holdings. The archdiocese has turned to parishes to help raise some of this amount.
