Ducks executives are scheduled to talk to free-agent center Mats Sundin today or Wednesday to see whether he's interested in playing for them and at what price. The Ducks are $900,000 below the salary cap and would have to make major moves to sign the 37-year-old.
"He's intrigued. They're a good hockey team, and one of his criteria is that he wants to play for a good team," said Sundin's agent, J.P. Barry. "He hasn't made any decisions at all yet."
