Kings face the Florida Panthers
KINGS TONIGHT
The teams haven't played each other since 2006-07.
Kings tonight vs. Florida, 7:30, FS West
Site -- Staples Center.
Radio -- 1150.
Records -- Kings 3-6-2, Panthers 4-6-1.
Record vs. Panthers -- Last played in 2006-07.
Update -- Kings goaltender Erik Ersberg, impressive in a 1-0 overtime loss to the Ducks on Tuesday in his first start, will start again tonight. The Kings, in an 0-3-2 slump, will face the Panthers for the first time since Feb. 3, 2007, and first time at home since Dec. 10, 2005. For the Kings, that's one general manager and three coaches ago. Since then, they fired Dave Taylor and replaced him with Dean Lombardi, and fired coaches Andy Murray, John Torchetti and Marc Crawford before hiring Terry Murray. The Panthers are winless in four (0-3-1) games. This is the first of three games in four days for the Panthers. They also play at Phoenix on Saturday and at Anaheim on Sunday.
