Deon Butler finished with 56 yards in five catches for Penn State to break the school's career reception record of 167, previously held by Bobby Engram.

Northwestern 21, at Michigan 14: C.J. Bacher threw touchdown passes on his first two drives of the second half at Ann Arbor to lift the Wildcats (8-3, 4-3) over the Wolverines (3-8, 2-5), who lost eight games for the first time in the storied program's 129-year history. A school-record five of Michigan's losses have come at home in Coach Rich Rodriguez's debut season.
