Heather Locklear charged with misdemeanor DUI
The actress was arrested in Santa Barbara County about two months ago on suspicion of driving under the influence of legally prescribed drugs.
Heather Locklear was charged today with misdemeanor driving under the influence of legally prescribed drugs, stemming from her arrest two months ago in Santa Barbara County, a prosecutor said.
The actress who starred in "Melrose Place" was arrested in September after a California Highway Patrol officer saw her parked car blocking a freeway traffic lane in Montecito and determined she was impaired. She was charged with a single misdemeanor count.

Locklear is scheduled to be arraigned Jan. 26. Attorney Blair Berk, who is representing the actress, declined to comment.
