Silver Lake man shoots, kills children and himself
His wife is wounded in the incident, which occurs in a home several blocks east of Los Angeles City College.
A Silver Lake man shot and killed his two young children, wounded his wife and then killed himself Friday night, Los Angeles police said.
Detectives from the LAPD's Rampart Division responded to a call around 10 p.m. at a single-family home and were investigating the incident.
Police had not determined the identities of the victims or the alleged shooter, or the ages of the boy and girl. The shooting occurred in a home in the 4200 block of Normal Avenue, several blocks east of Los Angeles City College.
