Big events Saturday night could tie up traffic
With college football at the Coliseum and Rose Bowl, baseball at Dodger Stadium and Neil Diamond at Staples Center, travel could be rough around L.A.
With three big games and a high-profile concert coming up, traffic could be a headache in parts of Los Angeles on Saturday night.

USC plays Oregon at the Coliseum at 5 p.m.; the Cubs are at the Dodgers at 7 p.m.; Washington State plays UCLA at the Rose Bowl at 7:15 p.m.; and singer Neil Diamond performs at Staples Center at 8 p.m.
Bruce Gilman, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Department of Transportation, said simultaneous events are not uncommon in the city and traffic officers plan for them.
"We encourage everyone to take advantage of public transit when they attend downtown sports venues or the Dodgers' games," Gilman said. "If you must drive, please drive carefully and watch the road."
