A list of school closures and neighborhood evacuations

The following schools in Los Angeles Unified School District are closed due to the Marek fire in the Lake View Terrace area:

* Broadous Elementary

* Castlebay Lane Elementary School

* Community High School

* Community Middle School

* Fenton Charter

* Harding Elementary

* Hubbard Elementary

* Lake View Terrace Charter

* Pacoima Elementary

* Triumph Academy Charter

In addition, classes at Cal State Northridge were canceled for the day, but the campus remained open, and Mission College in Sylmar was closed.

The following areas are under mandatory evacuation in the Sesnon Fire at Porter Ranch:

* Porter Ranch

* Box Canyon

* Woolsey Canyon

* Bell Canyon

* Lake Manor

* Dayton Canyon

* Brown Canyon

* Twin Lakes

These areas are under mandatory evacuation in the Marek Fire:

* Kagel Canyon

* Lopez Canyon

* Little Tujunga Canyon

* Areas east of Olive View-UCLA Medical Center, north of Olive View Drive and east past Veterans Memorial County Park to Pacoima Canyon Road.

Road closures:

* 118 Freeway in Chatsworth

* 210 Freeway closed between the 118 and Interstate 5
