* at Tulsa 77, Texas El Paso 35: David Johnson threw for 434 yards and five touchdowns to help lead the Golden Hurricane (7-0, 4-0) to a record-setting performance in beating the Miners (3-4, 3-1) in a Conference USA game at Tulsa, Okla. Brennan Marion had six catches for 233 yards and three touchdowns, setting a conference record for yards per catch in a game (38.8).

* at East Carolina 30, Memphis 10: Rob Kass threw two second-half touchdown passes as the Pirates (4-3, 2-1) ended a losing streak at three games and beat the Tigers (3-5, 1-3) in a C-USA game at Greenville, N.C.

* at Alabama Birmingham 23, Marshall 21: Joe Webb ran 28 yards for a touchdown early in the fourth quarter, and the Blazers (2-5, 1-3) held off a late comeback by the Thundering Herd (3-4, 2-1) in a C-USA game.
