* at No. 14 Utah 49, Colorado State 16: Backup quarterback Corbin Louks ran for 109 yards and two touchdowns and starter Brian Johnson threw two touchdown passes to lead the Utes (8-0, 4-0) over the Rams (3-4, 1-2) in a Mountain West Conference game at Salt Lake City.

* at New Mexico 70, San Diego State 7: Rodney Ferguson scored four touchdowns to lead the Lobos (4-4, 2-2) over the Aztecs (1-6, 0-3) in a Mountain West game at Albuquerque.

* Air Force 29, at Nevada Las Vegas 28: Tim Jefferson passed for two touchdowns and Ryan Harrison kicked the winning 19-yard field goal with 2:36 to play to lift the Falcons (5-2, 3-1) over the Rebels (3-4, 0-3) in a Mountain West game.

* at Nevada 44, Utah State 17: Colin Kaepernick rushed for two touchdowns and threw for another to lead the Wolf Pack (4-3, 2-1) over the Aggies (1-6, 0-3) in a WAC game at Reno.

* Cal Lutheran 23, at Claremont-Mudd 14: Jackson Damron kicked three field goals to lead the Kingsmen (4-1, 3-0) over the Stags (2-3, 1-2) in a SCIAC game.

* at La Verne 45, Pomona-Pitzer 37: Anthony Andre threw three touchdown passes to lead the Leopards (1-4, 1-2) over the Sagehens (1-4, 0-2) in a SCIAC game.

* Occidental 31, at Chapman 28: The Tigers (5-0) used a 28-point third quarter, led by Justin Goltz's two passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown, to defeat the Panthers (3-2).
